Tour 7: Trekking tour: Pico Mucuñuque                      Tour Prices

This is a one-day-sporting tour which gives you the rare possibility of conquering a mountain of almost 4700 mts height in one single day.

Course of the Tour:
Early in the morning, we'll drive to Laguna Mucubaji (3500mts), our departure place. From there, we'll go up -in stages- through a high lonely valley. Wonderful waterfalls with fresh mountanious water will be along our way. Over 4000mts height, the way will be stonier and steeper and the thin air won't make it easy either. However, after approx. 4 hours we'll make it and be stepping on the summit. If there isn't so much fog up there, we'll enjoy of an amazing view: the snow-covered summit of the Sierra Nevada and the mountainous chain of La Culata which lies in front of the mountain. Sometimes, the summits of Sierra del Cocuy of Colombia can be also seen from the summit of Pico Mucuñuque.
