Tour 27: Roraima Tepuy (Trekking) Tour Prices

The roraima massif is in the vernacular " the always fertile mother of the rivers ". Its rocky landscape where streams have their source and from which they flow into the bigger rivers like Orinoco, Amazon and Esequibo through Guayana. The massif of Roraima comes into being because of thousand erosions. The strange plants that are impregnated all around it, will hold your breath, making you feel you are in a lost world. Just with a little physical condition, you could get closer to this massif.

Course of the tour:
1. Day: Transfer from San Francisco de Yuruani in the Gran Sabana to the indian settlement "Perei-Tepuy" by jeep for one hour. After seven or eight hours hiking through the Gran Sabana, crossing streams and rivers, we'll arrive in the camp at the foot of the Tepuy. Overnight stay in tents.
2. Day: After five hours ascent, we'll reach the Tepuy. Then, visit to the different rock formations. Overnight stay in the so-called "Hotel" (big ledge)
3. Day: Hike on the plateau, visiting the sightseeings like the plants and rock formations, as well as the three corner rocks. Overnight stay in the "Hotel"
4. Day: Ascent and hiking to "Rio Tek" camp. Overnight stay.
5. Day: Hike to "Perei-Tepuy". Return to San Francisco. End of the tour.
