This a combined tour with the cable car, hiking, mule ride and jeep with a visit to an Andean town over 2.500mts and three different vegetation zones.

The cable car (El
Teléferico)
The longest and highest cable car of the world take us in an hour approx from Mérida city (1.700mts) through four stages to Pico Espejo (4.765mts). Tip: Try to leave early in the morning. The last cable car return at 3 pm. Avoid going on the weekends, holidays or vacation time, otherwise reserve in advance.
It's possible to hike to Los Nevados.

The center and the covered market
Visit to Plaza Bolívar with its cathedral and the governor palace, as well as a round tour through the "Mercado Principal" (covered market)

By taking a bus por puesto right on the city, you can get to this marvelous zoo.

"Sierra Nevada" National Park
By taking a bus por puesto and a jeep over Tabay you'll reach this National Park in 1 hour approx. It's possible to go trekking through the fantastic cloud forest and high mountain region until "Laguna Coromoto".

Hot spring in "Tabay"
By taking a bus por puesto to Tabay and hiking, you'll reach in one hour approx. this basin, which is located in this small town. On the weekends, there are lots of excursionists and families.

"Jaji" Village
From Mérida you can go to the colonial Andes for approx. 45 min. by bus "por puesto" and go hiking for two hours to "La Mesa del Indio", a place we recommend as one-day tour.
"La
Culata" Valley
You can reach this marvelous destination by taking the bus por puesto to "El Valle", where the National Park La Culata is located. This is a wonderful place for hiking and visiting the trout breeding.An excellent one day tour
Hot Spring "La Musui"
By taking a bus por puesto from the bus terminal you can reach the path to the hot water spring in approx. 2 hours over the trasandina road. Then, after hiking for almost 2 hours you'll get to this natural basis on the 3000mts.

de antier" Turistic Park
By taking a bus por puesto you'll get in 30 min from the center to this park "Venezuela of the day before". Lots of local tourists go there. Entrance ticket required.
